I'm back to the blogging world!

So I've never really done a good job with the whole blogging world, but I figure it's the best way to keep old friends and distant relatives up to date with our lives, especially since we'll be adding a new addition the our family in just a few short weeks! Stay tuned for more posts very soon...

Friends are Blessings!

A girls night turned into a hubbies and wives night out and it was a blast! We went to Macaroni Grill than headed to Truett and Shelbi's house for a game night that lasted until 3:00am!!

Our wonderful friends have shown us why God didn't intend for us to walk alone in this life. Friends are there to share life together, build one another up, encourage each other, be silly with, love, and have fun! We are so thankful for the people that God has placed in our lives. We love each of you and are thankful for your friendship in our lives.

New Year's Eve @ The Looney's

The couples of the night were...David and Victoria Beckham, Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson, Marlyn Monroe and her third husband Arthur Miller, Brad Pitt and Angela Joelie, Ben Afflec and Jennifer Gardner, the coulple from Juno, and Gwen Stefani and her hubby (they left early so are not in the pictures). Cowboys Game!

My sweet friend, Nastia had a suite and field passes for the Cowboys game last Sunday, and she so kindly invited Mark, me, and Carly!! We had so much fun! I had never been in a suite before. It was a luxury suite, so we had food and a great view! Here are some of the pictures of our evening!

Getting Ready for Christmas!

I took some pictures of our Chirstmas decor around our home. My favorite time of year is Christmas!! Mark doesn't like the top of our Christmas tree because he says it's too "girly" looking. I drove around everywhere to find these cute toppers!! haha

Thanksgiving!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We got to spend time with family, eat lots of good food, and relax a whole lot : ) I am so thankful for the many blessings in my life (my husband, a beatiful home, a great church, wonderful friends, amazing family, happiness, and love!) I thought I would share some pictures from when we went to III Forks with Mark's family the day after Thanksgiving. Enjoy!

2 Year Anniversary!

Mark and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary, which was last Tuesday! It amazes me that we have already been married for two years. Marriage is such a reminder of God's love toward us. Marriage is about making sacrifices, giving yourself to the other person and doing things for them for absolutely nothing in return. Marriage means love and deep friendship. It is looking at someone and knowing they would do anything for you and care about you above all. It is about committment and never giving up. It is about making yourself transparent, and being okay with someone knowing the depths of your soul. Marriage is fun and exciting, hard and easy. I thank the Lord that He gave us the gift of marriage!
